Accounts Payable Specialist Italy

As Accounts Payable Specialist Italy, you have a strong sense of proactivity and precision. Supporting the (international) business, you will be responsible for some of our main markets, where it’s a big plus if you are familiar with the Southern European market. Processing invoices and payments timely and correctly is where your journey starts! You’ll be interacting with your team lead, other accounting assistants, and our financial controllers daily, and you’ll also be communicating with other colleagues in the local business and within the finance team, (local) vendors, landlords, and occasionally with external auditors. With the capability to communicate in the local language, you can really make a difference in accelerating our accounts payable and providing full support to our countries.

Furthermore you will:

• Process invoices on a daily basis correctly and on time
• PO matching on invoices
• Prepare weekly payments
• Keep vendor cards and suspense accounts clean
• Settle bank statements
• Maintain masterdata
• Improve quality of information on vendor invoices
• Handle all vendor correspondence

For this role, we are searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist with a professional attitude, strong ethical code, and strong time management skills. You are familiar with the basic account principles and adapt easily to new ways of working. • Full knowledge of the Italian language
• Experience in accounts payable in an international, commercial environment
• You are fluent in English

• You currently reside in the Netherlands
