Whether it’s a Friday-night feast, a post-gym poke bowl, or grabbing some groceries, our tech platform connects tens of millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of restaurant, grocery, and convenience partners across the globe.

Are you analytical as well as hands-on? Can you identify the needs of local courier operations, understand the strategic direction of the overall organization, and translate this into actionable steps together with Product? Then this role might be for you…

All about the role

As our Shift Planning FSO (Functional Service Owner), your focus is to drive the quality of our day-to-day shift planning. In this role, we expect you to develop, standardize, and automate the shift planning process.

Your primary responsibility will be as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for courier scheduling, where you will develop global processes and scale them across all Scoober markets.

The role requires someone who can manage data-heavy, highly automated forecasting and planning processes for sophisticated courier logistics on an international scale. It also requires organizational change capabilities in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for all matters related to shift planning.
  • Partner with the planning community to continuously improve the quality of shift schedules, striving to eliminate overstaffing and understaffing.
  • Shape the strategic direction of the shift-planning domain by ensuring all activities are aligned with overall business goals.
  • Own the functional design and development of how shift planning operates within our tools, including standardizing and improving ways of working.
  • Analyze shift-planning data to identify business problems and opportunities, then prioritize them for the business roadmap.
  • Work alongside the Product team to design solutions and gather requirements, playing a key role in the global implementation of new processes.
  • Train and empower business users on new tools and processes, ensuring successful adoption and execution.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Significant proven experience in data-driven process management and optimization, particularly within supply chain planning environments across multiple operational channels. Experience with Anaplan and other Demand/Supply Planning ERP systems is ideal.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to align cross-functional teams and drive process efficiency.
  • In-depth experience communicating with senior management on business process design.
  • A track record of delivering high-impact strategic initiatives in fast-paced, growth-driven environments.

Can you deliver…

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Materials Science, or related fields.
  • Planning Expertise: Experience or strong understanding of designing and implementing planning solutions to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Capability: Ability to analyze data and present insights on supply optimization in a clear, simple way, with a focus on cost and performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for improving overall supply chain performance.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with demand and supply planning in sectors like FMCG, e-commerce, or manufacturing.
  • Supply Chain Principles: Knowledge of key supply chain concepts, including inventory management, cost optimization, and aligning supply plans with business goals.
  • Process Understanding: Awareness of core planning processes like Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), network, material, and capacity planning.
