Configuration Management Engineer – Rotterdam – ALTEN Netherlands

The Position

Als onderdeel van onze voortdurende groei zijn we op zoek naar een Configuration Management Engineer die ons team komt versterken en bijdraagt aan lopende klantprojecten in Rotterdam.

• Create and manage Configuration Management Plans (CMPs)
• Set up and maintain product structures and document lists in our PLM system (preferably 3DX)
• Check and validate technical data from suppliers and customers
• Monitor change control processes across departments
• Train and support project teams in configuration best practices
• Help shape future strategies for managing technical data
• Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (preferably shipbuilding/maritime)
• Experience with configuration management and PDM/PLM systems (ideally 3DX)
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Permanent EU citizenship and passport (mandatory for security clearance)
