How do you make our customers happy?

By ensuring our on-site product content resonates with and optimally facilitates 13.7 million customers as they find what they’re looking for, while empowering 47,000 partners to sell effectively. Product content isn’t a ‘byproduct,’ but the core of bol’s platform – from titles to descriptions, images, and attributes of everything we sell. As Product Manager of the Product Catalog, you’ll elevate the quality, relevance, and scalability of product content across our ecosystem. You’ll directly impact whether a customer finds that perfect gift, whether they discover a partner’s products, and whether our platform remains their go-to shopping destination. What you'll do as Product Manager of Product Catalog

You’ll help build a world-class product catalog that scales across millions of products while maintaining the highest standards for quality and relevance. We’re at a transformative moment, as we’re starting to apply AI to help scale, personalize, and safeguard content quality. How can you simplify content management for partners that range from local heroes to international brands? How can you balance automation with quality control? Create systems that work for both a small local merchant uploading their first product and a global brand managing thousands of SKUs. Success means finding the sweet spot between partner autonomy and platform standards, between AI efficiency and human oversight, and between stability and innovation.

You’ll lead one of two Product Catalog teams within the Assortment, Price & Promotions Area (APPA) of Core I. Your team includes experienced engineers – a mature squad ready to turn ambitious ideas into scalable backend solutions. Your mission centers on the partner-facing side of the catalog, helping resellers, brands, and integrators upload, enrich, and optimize their content. You’ll collaborate closely with the consumer-facing catalog team, internal operations, partner quality, and data science to drive impact across the content chain. Key responsibilities:

  • Simplify content uploads: team up with Partner Journey to make assortment onboarding intuitive through smart defaults and AI-assisted enrichment
  • Optimize for discoverability: help partners craft titles and descriptions that boost visibility in search engines and on-site navigation
  • Shape the product content vision: define and communicate compelling capabilities for partner-facing content management
  • Leverage AI smartly: enable intelligent content creation, validation, and personalization while safeguarding quality
  • Drive cross-team collaboration: align internal and external stakeholders around content that drives both partner success and the consumer experience
  • Measure what matters: define success metrics and prioritize opportunities that simplify content management at scale
