Job Details
This role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve annual global PSC revenue and volume growth as well as margin targets closely partnering with Regions for commercial initiatives, contributing to long-range sustained growth.
- Evolve World Courier’s value proposition, positioned as the industry’s partner of choice for personalized supply chain solutions.
- Ensure new business acquisition expansion by closely partnering with Regions on prospecting initiatives.
- Anticipate Personalized Supply Chain customer needs and work across functions and countries – and with other Cencora business units – to develop solutions which respond to their requirements.
- Own the service line innovation roadmap, in close partnership with Functions and Regions, executing it on time and on budget.
- Be aware of competitive offerings and regularly refresh the perspective of World Courier’s differentiators in the market.
- Develop and distribute product knowledge; initiate and maintain know-how exchange among cross-divisional teams and improve business processes to ensure commercial success of the PSC product.
- Ensure know-how transfer and appropriate training within the Regions. Own Sales Enablement production and maintenance.
- Work closely with regional Sales and Marketing to drive the commercial success of the service; and with Operations, Customer Service, Quality Assurance and Country/Regional leadership to ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations for service delivery at the time we have the right operational model to drive competitiveness.
- Lead PSC Product Managers (and similar roles) in the development and winning of new CSC opportunities in tight collaboration with Global and Regional Sales and Marketing.
- Partner with the bid management teams to shape World Courier’s response to PSC bids, working with Regional and Global sales teams to ensure a strongly positioning World Courier’s capabilities and commitment.
- Manage the pipeline of PSC opportunities for robust forecasting.
- Act as point of contact for internal stakeholders (e.g., sales executives, management) and external customers when it comes to PSC products and consulting is needed within the sales cycle upon request.
- Analysis and evaluation of the market potential by market observation, research/surveys, consumer interviews and conference participation, keeping in mind the long-term vision while driving short-term results.
- Lead the collaboration with Cencora business units to maximize synergistic results.
- Thought leadership representing World Courier at commercial logistics conferences and in the industry media. Maintain regular reporting on service KPIs, including commercial, financial and operational performance.
- Work with Quality Assurance to understand the cause of service deviations and maintain processes and work instructions to incorporate lessons learnt.
- Partner with Functions and Regions to identify new services or features’ needs in the market in connection with PSC.
- Develop partnerships as required to enhance the service line value proposition, building, and maintaining relationships with suppliers and partners to drive value from the interactions for World Courier and our customers.
- Ensure PSC is in compliance with sustainable development goals by design, measuring success from a triple bottom line perspective, which is incorporated in standard procedures, roadmap and value proposition.
- Promote development of the team, including professional development, succession planning and training.
Requirements
- An effective leader with at least eight years of directly related and responsible experience with a strong commercial background.
- Senior Experience in CGT and Radiopharma.
- Understanding logistics, clinical trial and 3PL operations, preferably in the specialty healthcare sector.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Logistics, Healthcare or Business Administration.
- Strategic thinking skills: able to generate ideas and opportunities and turn them into successful results.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace.
- Excellent presentation skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and develop successful strategies to deal with financial issues that are identified.
- Ability to perform financial planning and budget preparation tasks, as needed.
- Experience in building personal collaborations, networks and teams inside and outside of the organization and the ability to represent the company in a variety of internal and external settings.
- Experience working in a matrix organization subject to frequent change and with regional and country management where influencing skills are key.
- Ability to support activities of others, including coaching, training, guiding, developing, and managing.
