What will be your role?

As the Lead of the Project Management Officer, you would be responsible for leading and managing a team of project managers, communication and engagement specialists who deliver strategic and operational projects across the area CFO. You are a senior leader who drives change, innovation and improvement in the area CFO and ensures alignment with the organizational vision and goals. You are accountable for the quality, timeliness and budget of the projects and the satisfaction of the stakeholders. You will report into the Head of Strategy and Transformation for the Enabling Functions.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the PMO strategy, policies, standards and processes for the area CFO
  • Provide direction, guidance and coaching to the PMO team and foster a culture of collaboration, excellence and continuous learning
  • Oversee the portfolio of projects and programs in the area CFO and ensure they are aligned with the strategic priorities, objectives and outcomes
  • Monitor and report on the performance, progress, risks and issues of the projects and programs and provide timely and accurate information to the area CFO leadership and other stakeholders
  • Manage the PMO budget and resources and ensure optimal allocation and utilization
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships and communication with the area CFO leadership, business units, project sponsors, project teams and other stakeholders
  • Identify and implement best practices, tools and methodologies for project management and communication and engagement
  • Lead and facilitate the change management and stakeholder engagement activities for the projects and programs
  • Ensure compliance with the organizational policies, procedures and governance frameworks
  • Contribute to the organizational learning and improvement by capturing and sharing the lessons learned and feedback from the projects and programs

What do we ask from you?

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, project management, or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • A certification in project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile
  • A proven track record of delivering complex and large-scale projects and programs in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and recommendations
  • Highly adaptable, flexible and resilient, with the ability to drive change and innovation
  • Exceptional leadership, management and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the PMO team and the project teams
  • Proficient in using project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Jira, or Asana
  • Knowledge of the area CFO functions, processes and systems

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 6281 to € 9500 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance), and possibility of STI. Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
