The Advanced Computing Engineering research group develops and demonstrates innovative IT solutions for both public and private sectors.

We focus on areas such as big data processing, predictive analytics, large-scale simulations, and human interaction with complex data systems. Our team of over fifty professionals includes a mix of researchers, architects and IT consultants. We are diverse, collaborative and ready to both support and learn from you.

One of the key domains we work in is national security. For example, we support the Dutch Ministry of Defense in its digital transformation. The organization is adapting its operations and workflows with information at the core. Emerging technologies introduce complex and exciting challenges—such as designing IT and data architectures that align with operational processes, managing data across multiple classification levels, updating software on mission-critical systems, and enabling secure data exchange on platforms with limited connectivity.

As an enterprise architect, you will play a key role in addressing these challenges.

You will work on multiple projects simultaneously, developing forward-looking architectures and concepts in close collaboration with colleagues and clients. Your mission: to bridge operations, business processes, and IT in order to create innovative solutions that meet the Defense organization’s evolving needs.
