QA Engineer

At HelloPrint, we’re building the best online platform for printed products in the world (and beyond 🚀). To achieve this, we’re looking for a QA Engineer with a passion for automation who is ready to grow and make a big impact. We want to strengthen our automation strategy and ensure flawless releases across our platform. Working from the Valencia office, you’ll grow from hands-on testing to shaping QA practices, working closely with developers and product owners.

This is not a “just execute test cases” role, it’s a role for someone who wants to grow into defining how we test at HelloPrint, while still rolling up their sleeves to make sure everything we ship works flawlessly. You’ll safeguard the quality of everything we build: from our ecommerce storefronts to APIs and internal tools. You’ll be hands-on with testing while also driving automation strategy, mentoring teammates, and embedding QA in every step of the development process.

What You’ll Do

• Design and run automated tests with frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to catch edge cases and validate new features.
• Contribute to automation frameworks and gradually take ownership of QA strategy.
• Share knowledge with QA teammates, supporting their growth in automation.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria and prevent bugs early.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, confident releases.
• Explore and propose improvements in QA practices (e.g., performance, accessibility, load testing).

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of QA experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of Playwright (preferred) or similar frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
• Growth mindset: proactive, self-starting, eager to expand into strategy and mentorship.
• Communication skills to work across teams in Valencia, Rotterdam, and remote.
• AI-First Thinking: You embrace AI as part of the QA process to accelerate development and improve quality.

Nice to have:

• Background in ecommerce or SaaS.
• Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, or related languages.
• Experience with performance, load, or accessibility testing.
• Familiarity with Docker.
