What you are going to do

• Coach and mentor junior and medior QA engineers to improve their skills
• Design and implement complex test automation frameworks
• Write and execute advanced test cases to ensure software quality
• Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to development teams
• Improve testing processes and methodologies across the organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and timely delivery

What we offer you

• Salary between €4,092 and €5,846 based on 36 hours/week, depending on your knowledge and experience. It’s also possible to work 38 or 40 hours per week

Who you are

You are a driven QA Engineer and you are looking to learn. You have a strong sense of ownership, high quality engineering standards and the ability to develop a high-quality testing strategy. You clearly communicate with others, and both seek out and provide constructive feedback. You maintain a growth mindset and you are eager to learn, acquire new skills and try new methodologies and processes to make sure we stay future proof.

• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining automated tests with Test Automation frameworks such as SOAP UI and/or Bruno
• Extensive knowledge of Testing Methodologies such as functional testing, integration testing, regression testing and performance testing
• The ability to identify the root cause of issues and provide detailed analysis to developers
• You will need to work closely with developers, other team members and business colleagues, so excellent communication skills are critical. You must be able to communicate issues and explain test results clearly and concisely
• Certification for TMAP or ISTQB is a plus
• Basic understanding of Playwright is a plus
• Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, including relevant language features, syntax, and best practices is a plus
• Fluent Dutch is required

Who you will work with

You will join a partially remote cross-functional product team in the IT department of Schade Intermediair. In this department, we create insurance products for intermediaries and direct customers. Our focus is to create an amazing user experience, expand our product offering and improve operational efficiency.
