Customer Focus Team Lead Opportunity at Neways

As CFT Lead, you manage a multidisciplinary team, driving collaboration, structure, and results while achieving customer objectives across QLTC-S.

This is how you make an impact

As the Lead of the Customer Focus Team (CFT), you are the central point of contact for Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost, and Sustainability (QLTC-S). You lead a multidisciplinary team consisting of an Account Engineer, Business Planner, Project Buyer, Customer Support, Quality Specialist, and Portfolio Manager. You work closely with the Account/Project Manager, the Manufacturing Performance Teams (MPTs), and Category Teams (CTs).

Together, the CFT, MPT, and CTs are responsible for the total value stream from supplier to customer. You report directly to the Sales Manager.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Leading the CFT and chairing team meetings;
  • Defining and monitoring the team charter and related objectives;
  • Prioritizing activities, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress;
  • Representing the CFT within the organization (Board, MT, functional departments);
  • Managing customer requests within your team and acting as owner of all QLTC-S aspects;
  • Reporting on team results and customer developments;
  • Approving improvement plans, team structure, and escalations within the CFT domain;
  • Coaching and guiding team members in their roles and development.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s level education, preferably in a technical or commercial field;
  • Proven experience in customer-focused leadership and/or project coordination within a technical or industrial customer-driven organization;
  • Strong communication skills, sensitive and result-oriented;
  • Ability to maintain oversight, set priorities, and make decisions;
  • Strategic thinker while also managing operational execution;
  • Experience with stakeholder management and leading teams.
