Your impact at MUFG

Join our dynamic team at the Financial Crime Compliance Department (Amsterdam) as a Working Student. You will be an integral part of the department, becoming familiar with and contributing to the Bank’s key financial crime controls such as Customer Due Diligence, Transaction Monitoring and Sanctions Compliance. A particular focus will be given to Regulatory Change Management, a vital part of the organization that is tasked to identify, assess and implement new legal requirements.

This role will give you the opportunity to gain real work experience in an international corporate setting/financial institution while developing Financial Crime Compliance knowledge and skills for your professional development.

The role includes the following:

• Executing administrative tasks, reporting and supporting the Head of Financial Crime and the various sub teams such as the Advisory team with projects/tasks.
• To co-work with other team members in order to meet targets and other team requirements, by harmonizing with the whole team.
• To ensure compliance with the Bank’s rules, policies, procedures and guidelines together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

Skills and experience:

• Be a full time student with interest in or affinity for Law/Economics/Finance/Business (or another related field);
• Excellent attention to detail, proactive, hands-on.
• Analytical skills.
• Fluency, both verbal and in writing, in English is a must.
• Interpersonal and networking skills.
