Are you ready to take ownership of complex financial processes while driving the energy transition forward?

Join FincoEnergies as our Senior Accounting Employee in the Road & Marine division. In this role, you will ensure flawless financial administration across multiple entities and be key to accurate and timely reporting. You will join the Road & Marine finance team based in Rotterdam and report directly to the Manager Finance. Together, you will help shape the future of sustainable transport solutions.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Accounting Employee

  • Handle daily financial operations: process purchase, sales, and bank transactions, and validate invoices for accuracy.
  • Post invoices to the appropriate cost centers, respond to supplier inquiries, and manage internal recharges.
  • Prepare and follow up on accounts receivable and payable overdue reporting.
  • Contribute to month- and year-end closing, reporting, and audits, including booking accruals, preparing balance sheet files, assisting with VAT filings, and explaining results.
  • Coordinate with the commercial back office and finance departments within the division and across the FincoEnergies group.

As our new Front Runner you bring

  • A higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working;
  • 5+ years of work experience in a similar role;
  • A result-driven, enthusiastic, proactive, and accurate mindset;
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
  • Familiarity with MS Dynamics and Blue10 (a significant plus);
  • Knowledge of and experience in trading organisations, especially in fuels or energy (a significant plus).
