About the role
At Versuni, we organize technology around business domains (e.g., Supply Chain, Digital, Finance). Reporting into IT, the Senior Manager Tech Delivery partners closely with the domain’s Product Owners and delivery partners to keep the domain’s applications and services reliable, secure and continuously improving.
You'll be a key player in our mission of continual service improvement. By leveraging data and connecting with the different domains, you have an insight in the quality-of-service delivery (development, operational and contractual). You'll partner with our different domains to collaboratively make informed decisions to become better. You’ll lead the run (incident, request, problem, change, and release), turn ticket insights into prevention and automation, and keep leaders informed with crisp, data-driven updates.
Your efforts will directly enhance the development and operational delivery of technology services, ensuring our teams are as efficient and effective as possible. Your north star: operational excellence that enables the domain to deliver measurable value.
Impact you’ll make:
Run & protect
- Run day-to-day operations and make sure incidents, requests, problems and changes get successfully executed within clear SLAs/XLAs; restore fast, fix right, and reduce MTTR.
- Lead major incident handling and RCA, converting findings into backlog items and platform/domain guardrails.
- Coordinate release readiness and deployments, balancing speed and risk.
Govern & improve
- Establish operational governance: dashboards, KPIs/OKRs (e.g., P1/P2 trend, change success rate, backlog health, knowledge coverage).
- Drive shift-left through knowledge, self-service and automation; measure and evidence the impact.
- Keep runbooks and support models (RACI, on-call, comms templates) evergreen.
Partner & enable
- Manage AMS/SIAM and service provider performance via QBRs/MBRs, improvement plans and contract follow-ups.
- Embed observability (monitoring, logging, alerting, SLOs) with engineering to prevent incidents.
- Ensure Operational Readiness for new features (DoR/DoD, runbooks, training, rollback plans).
Communicate & align
- Provide timely, transparent stakeholder communications during incidents and changes.
- Bring data-driven recommendations to the Strategic Lead and Product Owners to inform the domain roadmap.
How do we measure success?
- Stability & speed: Lower P1/P2 volume, shorter MTTR, high change success, fewer repeat issues.
- Prevention & efficiency: Higher self-service resolution, KB coverage, automation adoption.
- Partner performance: SLA adherence, improvement plans closed, positive QBR/MBR outcomes.
- Alignment & trust: Clear comms, predictable releases, roadmap inputs grounded in ops data.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- 8+ years in IT service delivery / technology operations, blending ITIL with Agile/DevOps ways of working.
- Track record leading incident/problem/change at scale, including major incident and RCA.
- Experience governing AMS/SIAM and vendor performance (SLAs, KPIs, XLAs; QBR/MBR rhythms).
- Confident with ServiceNow (or equivalent), dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
- Strong stakeholder skills—able to translate technical operations into clear business updates.
- Bonus: SRE practices, cloud operations, automation tooling.
