Our hotel offers the award-winning rooftop bar LuminAir, the vibrant new WE ARE EDN restaurant and bar, Amsterdam’s most extensive breakfast buffet, and an in-house LOT61 coffee store. Our recently refurbished 557 guest rooms and 15 versatile meeting rooms, make our hotel a dynamic and exciting place to work.

Who are we looking for / What will you be doing?

Join our fantastic team as our new LuminAir Event & Sales Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual eager to play a key role in a newly refurbished hotel and an award-winning rooftop bar. Join us in inspiring clients to create unforgettable events filled with creativity and imagination.

This position includes the following main tasks:

• Continuously research and uncover new networking opportunities that align with the hotel’s strategic goals and target markets.
• Proactively identify, attend, and engage in relevant networking events to build and maintain strong relationships that drive business growth for the hotel.
• Act as a visible and influential representative of the hotel within the local market, cultivating strong connections with top clients, event planners, and key stakeholders throughout Amsterdam.
• Serve as a pillar of the community by fostering lasting relationships that position the hotel as a preferred venue for social and corporate events.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to maximize event attendance and drive incremental revenue through targeted initiatives.
• Proactively responsible for identifying new business opportunities and generating leads through online research, visiting potential clients, and uncovering new revenue streams.

To excel as the LuminAir Event & Sales Manager, we are seeking a motivated, proactive, and client-focused professional passionate about delivering exceptional event experiences. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attitudes:

• Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with proven experience managing events and client relationships
• A proactive and positive attitude, driving initiative and creativity in delivering exceptional client experiences.
• Excellent communication skills in English & Dutch, both verbal and written; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve business goals and enhance event success.
• Experience in client-focused roles with attention to detail and adaptability to diverse customer needs.
