At a glance

As a key contributor to our team, you will provide the financial data essential for both management information and external reporting, including our annual report. This role carries significant responsibility, and you will play a vital part in navigating the evolving landscape of technology and regulations, particularly in reporting.

Your job

You will be the go-to contact for several ABN AMRO supplying entities, ensuring that figures from global sources are accurately reported and consolidated within the IFRS Reporting team. You possess a good understanding of financial statements—balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, cash flows statements and concept of intercompany reporting. Your analytical skills enable you to ask pertinent questions, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Accounting, Controlling, Policies, Tax, and ALM departments, you will enjoy varied and insightful work. You will contribute to the continuous enhancement of our department and reporting processes, tackling finance, reporting, and regulatory challenges. As a proactive self-starter, you will have the opportunity to broaden your expertise or specialize in areas such as equity, risk, and provisions reporting. Together, we'll explore where your talents truly shine.

Working environment

Our Consolidation department, part of the IFRS Reporting group, consists of 12 dedicated professionals, complemented by External Reporting and Sustainable Finance Reporting teams. Together, we are responsible for the preparation and publication of the half-year and annual integrated report. You'll join a diverse group of colleagues aged in their twenties to sixties, bringing varied backgrounds and perspectives. We are ambitious and proactive, striving for continuous improvement and mutual growth. Collaboration is key, as we challenge and support each other to learn and excel. We work closely with other disciplines, addressing intriguing issues in accounting, reporting, and IFRS topics.

Your profile

Requirements: • Strong analytical skills with a knack for clear communication about financial figures. • Good understanding of accounting concepts, consolidated accounting, accounting disclosures, and annual report preparation. • 2 to 5 years of work experience, preferably in the financial services industry. • A university degree in accountancy or business economics, with IFRS knowledge preferred. • Proficiency in Dutch and English.
