Department Description

The department named PPU (Project and Process Unit) supports Atradius' transformation journey in partnership with the whole Atradius organisation, steering business change through innovation and new developments in information technologies and process improvement. Besides portfolio management, the department contains teams for project management, product owners, (business- and process-) analysts and business enterprise architecture. In our organization, we are looking for a Junior Business Process Designer in the team Process Design & Business Enterprise Architecture.

Job Description

The Junior Business Process Designer is responsible for designing and improving processes using LEAN methodologies. They utilize innovative technologies in process design where appropriate.

Develop a clear understanding of the current processes. Analyse the efficiency and effectiveness of these processes. Identify areas for improvement and initiate and manage the implementation of these improvements. You will support parts of the process improvement initiatives using LEAN as the methodology under guidance of an Expert Process Designer.

Deliverables

  • Process documentation (AS IS)
  • Process analyses, using LEAN methodologies and principles
  • Improvements on processes (TO BE) including cost-benefit analyses (business cases)
  • Training material for other colleagues

  • Assisting in design, improve and maintain (business) processes (BPMN 2.0)
  • Implement LEAN methodologies and principles in process design and improvement
  • Utilize innovative business process design working methods and technologies
  • Undertake autonomous assignments or project engagements as required
  • Assisting with implementing new working methods and technologies in the Process Design team

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Management, or a related field
  • Some experience in or knowledge in process design
  • LEAN certificate or process improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with innovative design, working methods and technologies.
