Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As an Analytics Data Product Owner at adidas you are responsible for managing the EU eCom data assets present in our Databricks Lakehouse Platform, which are used by the EU eCom Analytics team to deliver cutting-edge analytics services to stakeholders, enabling them to make fact-based decisions.
You play a pivotal role in guiding the development and maintenance of data products for the EU eCom Analytics organization at adidas. Collaborating closely with a team of data engineers based out of India, your responsibilities include backlog management, product development, quality assurance, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. By bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution, you ensure the delivery of high-value, reliable data products that support the EU eCom organization’s analytical and decision-making capabilities.
While you are not expected to build data pipelines yourself, you need to have a good understanding of the workflow involved in this activity and be able to manage the team’s bandwidth on agreed & incoming priorities. You will work closely with the engineering lead on this. You speak the language of data engineers in your team and the language of analysts, data scientists and business stakeholders, steering towards clarification where needed and translating possible vague requirements into technical requirements or follow-ups for the team.
As a team we believe in collaboration, high-energy, continuous learning, and celebrating (even small) wins. You benefit from flat hierarchies and will be exposed to various organizational levels.
