The Circular Lifetime Solutions team ensures a seamless aftersales experience and circular supply chain by maintaining service parts availability, fostering customer intimacy, increasing loyalty, and scaling take-back models. Our strategy focuses on driving and executing the strategy to unlock and maximize the re-use and value recovery of medical equipment through remanufacturing, refurbishing, repairing, and recycling.

We adopt an integrated approach to continuously improve parts fulfillment, reverse logistics, and re-business, driving operational excellence in end-of-use management and lifetime solutions for our customers.

You are responsible for

As a Circular Solutions Activation manager, you will be responsible for accelerating & unlocking the value of circularity by:

  • Understanding the customers’ drivers for buying pre-owned equipment, the pre-owned market, our market share and the competitive landscape
  • Driving Circular Edition and Select Edition OIT & Sales globally for Imaging Systems (CT & MR)
  • Unlocking & transforming circular solutions business development for Europe region
  • Actively contribute to the modality team ensuring the end-to-end supply/value chain is optimized to meet AOP targets
  • Working with the product managers on product introductions and pricing strategies
  • Providing quarterly forecasts for both OIT and Sales
  • Evaluate and provide input/recommendation on zone proposals for customer tenders/quotes
  • Conduct factory tours and presentations to potential customers
  • Set-up and orchestrate quarterly training sessions for sales teams

For this you will be working collaboratively with the Sales leaders, Imaging marketing teams and distributors in the regions, to unlock circular growth and drive consistent circular processes.

You are a part of the CLS Circular Solutions Marketing & Strategy Team

Within CLS, the Circular Solutions Marketing & Strategy team is driving the strategy, upstream and downstream marketing, business development & activation with all the regions, focus on Precision Diagnosis and IGTS. Our team acts as accelerator for unlocking the commercial value of circularity. We drive the circular systems portfolio, upstream and downstream activation to ensure responsible end-of-use management so that Philips can recover the most value out of the returning equipment.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of industry experience
  • Strong sales acumen and ability to be an accelerator to unlock the commercial value of circularity
  • Previously you have been a Modality Sales Specialist, Business developer or potentially a hardcore sales person
  • Strong understanding of IB Renewal, Customer Retention and Trade-in practices
  • Be familiar with the Imaging product portfolio and its lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing and change management skills
  • Marketing strategy development & implementation
  • Business-customer oriented
  • Ability to build and nurture effective relationships within the matrix organization
  • Bring people together and aligning them around common goals; leverage the power of Philips, independent from organizational structures and reports
