Job Description

The Manufacturing Product Industrialization Engineer sets up and validates tailored manufacturing processes for moderately complex projects. You integrate lean manufacturing principles into the product development lifecycle. You execute complex processes and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards. You work independently, with limited supervision.

In this role, you represent product industrialization in cross-functional teams. You ensure a smooth transition from development to manufacturing. You align process requirements with product specifications and manufacturing criteria. You make sure that process capabilities meet all defined standards.

You apply lean principles and continuous improvement methods to boost productivity in manufacturing. You focus on delivering modular, standardized solutions. These support efficient processes during product development and production. You also ensure quality and regulatory compliance at every stage.

Your role:

  • Implements process development activities for mid-complexity projects.
  • Streamlines procedures and improves efficiency within defined project scopes.
  • Applies Design for Lean Manufacturing (DFLM) to process development.
  • Aligns process and equipment capabilities with defined process requirements.
  • Translates product specifications into process-ready manufacturing steps.
  • Ensures manufacturing processes meet technical and operational standards.
  • Supports accurate and timely setup of master data in manufacturing systems.
  • Ensures compliance with QMS, safety, regulatory, environmental standards and local regulations.
  • Solves process-related challenges using sound methods and techniques.
  • Builds strong collaborations across industrialization and manufacturing teams.

You are a part of
A multi-functional team responsible for all manufacturing aspects from process development/engineering and operations to maintenance, supply chain, and procurement. In this role you will report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with many other teams and stakeholders (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Process development, IT, Sales, etc.).

Having over 40 years of experience, we team up with our customers to make products within the critical time path, reacting fast and flexible on new insights. We assure integral coupling with supply chain and manufacturing activities. With the use of industrial production equipment, we provide electronic manufacturing services like industrial, high-end PCB assembly, micro assemblies, back-end assembly and interconnect architecture prototyping and manufacturing.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in areas such as Manufacturing/Operations environment, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Production Engineering, or Cost Engineering or equivalent.
