Join our team

You will be a part of the Application Development Team in R&D, building a world-class platform that empowers users to craft exceptional digital solutions, from initial app design in our IDE through deployment and monitoring of live applications.

Your role

You will be directly responsible for growing our data-driven culture in close collaboration with product teams, including product managers, developers, designers, and our Datalake team. You will advise product leads with data-based evidence to make business decisions, prioritize the analytics roadmap, and mentor peer analysts.

You will support us in broadly 3 ways:

  • Knowledge Creation: Understand the current state of our products to advise growth and improvement directions through data-driven insights. This involves planning and building scalable data products, and executing end-to-end analytics projects answering business questions.
  • Steering & Prioritization: Partner with stakeholders to focus on the highest (measured) impact initiatives.
  • Learning: Measure outcomes, extract insights, and continuously improve not only our products but also our data-driven process. Collaborate with development teams to improve data literacy and event tracking (data collection) practices.

Expected skill set

  • A curiosity-driven approach
  • Ability to present actionable insights and recommendations to business leads.
  • Strong statistical foundations and ability to explain advanced analytics terminology to stakeholders.
  • Competency in gathering business requirements from stakeholders and translating these into well-rounded analytics projects.
  • Aptitude to challenge stakeholders and lead discussions towards building a valuable data solution.
  • Experience in advocating data literacy among product teams.
  • Strong cross-collaboration leadership skills to manage between competing priorities from multiple product verticals and horizontal initiatives.
  • Mentorship skills to grow fellow analysts.

Required experience

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on product/data analysis experience
  • Strong statistical foundations and ability to explain advanced analytics terminology to stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Query and Data Set optimization
  • Dashboarding skills (preferably Power BI, including DAX)
  • Proficiency in using R/Python for data processing and analytics
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey information to technical and non-technical stakeholders across the department.

Bonus:

  • Product analytics experience in a SaaS company
  • Ability to teach analytics to peers and non-analytics stakeholders
