We are looking for a (junior) Team Leader RWD to join our Biometrics & Real-World Data (RWD) team, reporting into the Senior Team Leader Biometrics & RWD. This role is ideal for an experienced statistician who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities while continuing to contribute hands-on to scientific projects. You will lead and mentor a team of Clinical Data Scientists, guiding them in the design and analysis of non-randomized studies. At the same time, you will support project execution, ensuring scientific excellence and operational delivery.

As well as Adults and Elderly: Tailored nutrition for oncology, stroke recovery, frailty, and critical care. Finally, Clinical and Tube Feeding: Oral and enteral nutrition solutions used in hospitals and home care settings.

Main Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and support a team of Clinical Data Scientists, fostering their development and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Strategic Execution: Translate scientific strategy into actionable project roadmaps and ensure operational delivery within the current framework.
• Operational Contribution: Actively contribute to the design, analysis, and interpretation of non-randomized studies, including observational and quasi-experimental designs.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Life Science, Digital Health, Biometrics, Data Science, Clinical Operations, and Medical Affairs teams to ensure statistical rigor and business relevance.
• Knowledge Sharing: Capture and disseminate knowledge across the team and broader organization, contributing to training and process improvement.

Key Deliverables:

• Shape and manage a project portfolio aligned with the strategic direction, building roadmaps with milestones and key deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• High-quality protocols, statistical analysis plans, and study reports.
• Mentorship plans and development support for team members.

About you

You are a highly motivated and scientifically rigorous statistician with a strong academic background and a proven track record in the design and analysis of non-randomised studies. Your ability to lead and inspire teams is matched by your operational focus and commitment to delivering high-quality, impactful results. You communicate effectively across functions and bring a collaborative spirit to cross-disciplinary environments. Your proactive mindset and attention to detail ensure that scientific integrity is upheld throughout your work.

• MSc or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field
• Proven experience in non-randomised studies, ideally in a clinical or health data setting
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across functions
• Operational leadership with a focus on timely and high-quality delivery
• A proactive mindset, scientific integrity, and a commitment to delivering impactful results
