(32-38 hours per week)

Action is an expanding company and one of the core units that enables our growth across our geographies is the Sourcing & Import department with its dedicated European Sourcing team. This team is essential to building a strong network of European manufacturers and supporting our ambitious expansion goals. You will be joining as a Sourcing Coordinator, part of the International HQ of Action, reporting to the European Sourcing Manager. Take a look!

This is your daily action

Overall this position focuses on securing Action's purchasing by finding and managing the best production partners while supporting our Buying teams throughout the entire sourcing process. You are the main link between Action's Buying team, internal stakeholders, and our suppliers, enabling buyers to focus on category management, product selection, quality, and pricing.

In particular, you:

• Lead Supplier Discovery & Network Building: At your own discretion and upon buyer needs, explore different sourcing channels to build and maintain a network of European direct manufacturers
• Pre-qualify Potential Suppliers: Assess new suppliers based on their general set-up, product assortment, production capacity & capabilities, quality & sustainability standards, and logistical capabilities
• Coordinate Factory Evaluations: Facilitate and coordinate factory evaluations & audits in collaboration with our quality and sustainability teams
• Support Buying Operations: Prepare and support buying trips with Buying teams including quotations, sample arrangement and tagging, trip planning, booking flights, meeting management, transport and accommodations
• Manage End-to-End Order Process: Coordinate the complete order journey from contract to shipment, including direct data input to Action systems (Mendix, P.I.M, Product IP, Finance), sample arrangement, artwork coordination, and inspection follow-up
• Ensure Data Quality & Compliance: Handle classification/tariffing of articles, HS codes setup & control, import follow-up, and maintain accurate supplier databases
• Drive Process Optimization: Monitor production trends, novelty items, and competitors to identify opportunities and threats, translating them into recommendations for buying teams

Your internal stakeholders include Buying, Quality, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Commercial teams. Your external stakeholders are our diverse European supplier base. You are naturally an organized, responsive, and proactive person who has a strong customer focus and result-oriented mindset as core professional drivers. Building relationships and managing cross-functional cooperation comes naturally to you. You are a pragmatic team member who can execute with pace and initiative while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

In addition, you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Purchase, Commerce, Supply Chain or Management
• 3+ years of work experience in sourcing/purchasing, preferably within retail
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent oral and written English, Polish or Italian as first or second language would be appreciated
• Cross-functional cooperation experience with ability to work across multiple departments
• Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Pro-active self-starter mentality who is not afraid to take initiative
• Cost-conscious mindset considering all involved costs and demonstrating high level of pragmatism
