JOB PURPOSE

As SC finance analyst, you operate at the heart of the European Foods Supply Chain, with the aim to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive profitability. This role has a broad scope covering all factories and markets within the Foods Europe network and focus on the different supply chain cost buckets in our P&L. You will work closely with Planning, Quality, Procurement and Customer Operations teams to drive value creation. The candidate will need to be able to see the bigger picture while being capable to drill down to details to drive key value-focused and simplification actions.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

  • Support countries and business units from an E2E supply chain / COGS perspective: understanding of actuals and identify trends and issues
  • To create accurate SC cost forecasts in conjunction with cost bucket owners, SCFS and the Foods BU
  • Communication of supply chain cost movements and transfer price impacts in forecast and actuals to the countries
  • Support with SC performance updates to key stakeholders in the BU
  • Support business cases and scenarios for supply chain projects and sourcing studies
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of our Supply Chain Overheads and Business Waste results in collaboration with the supply chain teams and SCFS.

SKILLS & QUALITIES YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Professional finance qualification preferred, alternatively equivalent business experience
  • A solid understanding of cost accounting, financial accounting, and FP&A
  • High levels of accuracy and consistency
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical ability, ability to work and analyse large volumes of data, critical thinking with focus on insights and story telling,
  • Demonstrated ability to work and build rapport remotely with finance stakeholders
