Internship: Treasury Middle Office (Accounting)

Your role:
Join the Treasury department of Philips, a global leader in Health Technology, and contribute to a high growth business that will help improve the lives of millions.

• Participating in the month-end accounting closing process and the Annual Report.
• Working on IFRS accounting research for Treasury Accounting.
• Understanding financial risk and the impact on Treasury controls.
• Preparing the Daily P&L report and performing daily reconciliations.
• Collecting financial data and support the Treasury team in analyzing financial data.
• Supporting in the bank confirmation process.

You're the right fit if:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s studies in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting or other relevant degree.
• Excellent excel skills, able to manage and analyze data.
• Proactive, structured and independent worker with an analytical eye and detail oriented.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluency English is mandatory.
• Knowledge of SAP is valuable.

Next to that, we are offering a decent internship package:

• Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
• Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300 net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255 net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
• Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192 net.
• Paid holidays per internship term.
• The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop.
