To ensure we offer a secure, compliant, and user-friendly capability to our consumers, we are looking for a senior Product Owner who leads more than just the product. You will be end-to-end responsible for ensuring we offer a safe capability that is consumed according to the standards and guidelines we set, and you will be able to monitor this and steer the organization. You have extensive experience in Identity and Access Management, are a good communicator, and an excellent stakeholder manager. If you tick a lot of these boxes, then this is your job! 🚀

Your job

The overall challenge is to enhance our capabilities/services and increase their usage and coverage within the organization. You are an Identity and Access Expert and can steer the organization to have safe and easy services that comply with our standards. You are a functional leader and authority on the capability within your responsibility.

As a leader with an analytical and innovative mindset, you will drive improvements in the ways of working within the I&A grid and advance the I&A Capability specifically. You will use your knowledge of complex IT environments combined with Identity and Access Management, IT audit, and banking channels to increase capability compliance and reduce Cyber Risk.

As a Capability Owner, you will have a strategic role in the I&A grid. You will ensure that you have a vision for the capability’s future and can translate that into a comprehensive roadmap for the development of products and services within your responsibility. Your experience as a Senior Product Owner in an agile environment will help you drive the teams forward.

To meet these challenges, you stay up to date on the latest developments in Identity and Access Management, IT infrastructure, and/or online banking. Sharing your knowledge with colleagues and peers comes naturally to you.

Working environment

You will work as the Capability Owner of the Authentication Capability within ABN AMRO CISO’s Identity and Access Grid. The team consists of motivated and passionate IAM experts, product owners, developers and operations.

Your profile

Must have:

• 8+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management and complex IT environments
• Strong understanding of Authentication methods and technologies (e.g. MFA, SSO, FIDO, step-up -, risk-based authentication)
• 3+ years of experience in functional leadership roles within an organisation (demonstrating authority in the field without formal hierarchical power)
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Owner with a proven track record in strategic role
• Vision and strategic planning skills - Ability to develop a vision and translate it into an actionable roadmap for the future of the capability
• Relationship management skills - Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience and good understanding of directives and legislation on for example DORA, AI Act
• Excellent communications skills.

Nice to have:

• Relevant certifications such as CISA and CISSP
• Good (security) knowledge of the main IT layers such as operating systems, network infrastructure, and database management systems
• Experience in creating policy standards and guidelines for IAM
• Knowledge of banking products and processes.
