As Director Consulting Services for our Space activities you are integrally responsible for your customers, your team and operational activities. You lead your own space business, as part of the company and contribute to the customer-oriented and successful character of CGI. Does this appeal to you and do you have experience in this area?

Your role in the team

For our fast growing Space Unit we are looking for leadership to support our growth in the EU space eco system. Our space experience and main focus is in the navigation and telecom domain in both upstream and downstream. In CGI we expert driven teams that are fully responsible for their part of the business, under your leadership. For this role we are looking at people/ entrepreneurs that have experience with:

• Delivery
  • You are experienced in managing complex international (space) projects;
  • You are aware of de system engineering approach for mission critical systems;
  • You can work according to waterfall, agile and hybrid;
  • You have a good feeling with international stakeholder management;
  • You deliver multimillion firm fixed price projects.
• Operations
  • Run your business as your own profit and loss responsibilities

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned Program Manager with a strong background in complex IT systems and passioned about space. Here's how you'll make an impact:

• You have a proven track record in program management, with a focus on complex systems;
• Working in an international environment with international (Space) clients and international colleagues;
• Your educational background is solid, with a focus on Information Technology or a related field. Alternatively, you have a wealth of hands-on experience that demonstrates an equivalent working level;
• You come to the table with more than 7 years of work experience in commercial or operational management positions in business and IT solutions;
• Good quality network in the Space Industry;
• Experience with business development in Space applications and space systems;
• Experience in running and being responsible for the operations ;
• Experience with coaching leadership of teams of approximately 15 consultants;
• Self-starting and initiating;
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Holder off a passport of one of the EU27 countries;
• Due to the nature of the work and that it is really a team effort the working location is our HQ in Rotterdam;
• Willing to undergo a personal security screening.
