The IAM team at Rabobank manages all identities and access permissions across our global network. Rabobank uses state-of-the-art IAM systems to manage, for example, IGA, PAM, and Certificate Management. Our ambition is to grow into a platform that provides IAM services which are secure by design, seamless, plug-and-play for end users, and most of all: Digital Only!

As a Solutions Architect IAM, with a focus on Certificate Management and Asset Onboarding, you will design, implement, and maintain robust solutions that are critical to the security of our digital ecosystem. You will play a key role in automating certificate issuance, onboarding applications to our IGA platform, and ensuring compliance with modern authentication standards.

You and your job

As part of the IAM architecture team, your key responsibility is to translate our IAM vision into architectural specifications and interact with key stakeholders to achieve the best possible results. The team you will be part of designs scalable, seamless, and secure solutions for PKI and certificate lifecycle management. You will also work closely with 10 other architects within our department, collectively taking responsibility for the full architecture lifecycle — from new ideas to clear specifications and principles ready for detailed design.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate high-level targets into architecture, designs, and blueprints for solutions.
• Leverage your experience in design patterns, published reference architectures, and guidance from Business Architects and other (internal) stakeholders such as the Cyber Defence Centre.
• Create or enhance architecture and design artifacts such as solution architecture documents, technical requirements, diagrams, and technical presentations.
• Stay up to date with technological developments and translate them into innovative solutions.

You will also act as a sparring partner for the business, development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders. You stay informed about the latest market and technological developments and incorporate them into your architectural designs. You will play a key role in monitoring and ensuring the quality of the DevOps team’s work and act as an expert in IAM capabilities and security control discussions.

You and your talent

• Academic thinking and working level, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with (hybrid) cloud environments and platforms (MS Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and their IAM features.
• Experience with IAM solutions, particularly in PKI, certificate management, and IGA.
• Knowledge and implementation experience with common IAM protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and SCIM.
• Relevant certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500).
• Preferred: Training and experience with TOGAF, SABSA, ArchiMate.
• Strong writing and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (required).
