We are looking for an energetic Head of Marketing to help us grow our brand and disrupt the personal care industry. Want to build a brand that parents trust and love? Keep reading!

Please note that this role is temporary, and covers the maternity leave of one of our colleagues from the beginning of August '25 - beginning of January '26 (~5 months)

About Naïf

When Jochem and Sjoerd both became dads for the first time in 2013, they realized that baby care products were full of harmful ingredients. Driven to make a change, Naïf was born.

Our mission is to change the world of personal care, and to protect and care for the environment that our children (and their children) will live in at all costs. So we choose to make personal care products that are mild for sensitive skin and less harmful for our planet. We were the first brand to introduce plastic-free wet wipes in the Netherlands, and we actively campaign against the use of microplastics in personal care products.

We have everything you need for your baby, from diaper cream to plastic-free wipes, shampoo and even sunscreen. The sensitive baby skin doesn’t need a lot if you ask us, and definitely no bad stuff. That’s why Naïf products are made with natural ingredients, and without mineral oils, microplastics or SLES. We choose high quality ingredients because your baby only deserves the best. Good care, worry-free.

Your role

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing (MT member) who knows how to grow a brand with heart. Someone who owns it — from big, beautiful brand campaigns to the small, little details that make all the difference. In this role, you’ll make sure parents across NL, DE, BE, and AT know exactly who we are (and why they can trust us). You’ll champion real stories over picture-perfect ones, always keeping parents' voices at the center of everything we do — from product innovation to brand communication. Together with the team, you’ll drive awareness, love, and sustainable growth for Naïf. So, what impact will you make?

  • Your mission (and passion) is to grow Naïf’s brand awareness and make even more (soon-to-be) parents fall in love with us.
  • You are the guardian of the Naïf brand across all markets. No matter where people meet us — the feeling is the same.
  • You build and roll out the annual marketing plan, always in tune with our mission, vision, and goals (both brand and business).
  • You put parents first. Always. Their voice leads the way in everything we create — from new products to how we tell our story.
  • You manage a million Euro marketing budget with care and smarts. Every Euro is invested with impact (and a sharp eye on ROI).
  • You’re a real people person. You coach, guide, and grow a talented marketing team, helping them shine in what they do best.
  • As part of the management team you make sure marketing isn’t just a department — it’s a heartbeat through the whole company, while being able to overlook departments and acting in Naïf’s best interest (so also take ownership on revenue and margins).

What you bring (besides your love for good care)

  • You know how to build and grow a love brand - and you are not afraid to think BIG (we think it’s good to be a Naïf and challenge the status quo). You bring disruptive creativity!
  • You care for people, and you really understand parents - their needs, their dreams, their worries, their realities. You know how to translate that into products that really help parents, and into powerful, honest marketing..
  • You are both a strategic thinker and a hands-on doer. You bring clarity, and can set clear & simple goals. You have a vision and can see the bigger picture. But if the brand tracker needs analyzing, you dive right in. Budget deep-dive? You roll up your sleeves and open the Excel yourself.
  • You bring a min. of 8 years experience in (FMCG) marketing / branding / communication. You understand the full marketing mix — from positioning to performance. And love to challenge the status quo. You’re a pro at staying organized, achieving goals, and juggling multiple projects and people at once.
  • Managing big budgets and making smart investment choices? You got it covered.
  • You’re a natural coach. You have managed big teams before. You love helping people grow and you believe great results come from happy, motivated teams.
  • You are ready to jump in, take the lead, and make an impact from day one (experience with temporary roles is a plus)
  • You are available 32-40 hours p/w, from beginning of August 2025 to beginning of January 2026.
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English (we might die from excitement if you also speak German)
  • You’re happy to work from our office in Scheveningen (with very good coffee!) at least 3 days a week.
