About Wholesale and Rural Innovation

Rabobank’s Wholesale and Rural Innovation Department (Utrecht) is focused on creating innovation business solutions to meet the needs of our clients and business partners using digital and innovation technological solutions. One such proposition looks at Value Chain Finance solutions for the bank by automating existing processes to improve its operational efficiency.

To deliver this solution and to secure successful outcomes, our innovation team is working on delivering technical applications as well as business products/use cases. Working in an Agile innovation framework, we are set up to deliver through experiments, validating our assumptions and testing feasibility of the product we wish to build. This also means that due to the changing nature of the innovation proposition, new features or build requests may come into the backlog or new business requirements are desired.

About Project Solace: Project Solace aims to address the #1 issue in Wholesale: dual pressure on our return on capital and future-proof delivery mechanisms. The project revolves around Credit Risk Mitigation (CRM) and consists of three main elements:

• Unfunded Credit Participation (UFCP)
• Strategic Partnership
• Robust Delivery Mechanism

During this Internship, you will work on your career at Rabobank. You do this by gaining practical experience in a professional environment with Business & IT experts.

Examples of projects/tasks

• Creating a plan for the onboarding of end users for Project Solace
• Prepare trainings and meeting for the user
• Coordinating the adoption cycle of the new system.

• Period: 3-4 months or longer

• You have an affinity with IT and tech and you preferably study in a Business and/or IT field
• You can learn new systems and the way of working in a short period of time
• You are fluently in English, and excited to work together with teams in NL and abroad
• You are self-starting, flexible and have an analytical mindset
