Sales & Operations Planning Coordinator

We’re looking for a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Coordinator to join our team in Eersel. In this key role, you’ll be the strategic connector between Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production—ensuring that everything from customer demand to final installation is planned, aligned, and on track. From quote to commissioning, you’ll drive the planning process that keeps the entire operation synchronized and performing at its best.

Your role

Sales & demand planning

• Work closely with Sales to collect forecasts and turnover targets
• Translate client and project needs into monthly/weekly demand plans
• Ensure intake is structured and reflects up-to-date market reality

Master planning & capacity management

• Build and maintain a Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with demand and resource availability
• Perform short-, mid-, and long-term capacity planning across Engineering, Manufacturing, Assembly, Purchase and Installation & Commissioning
• Identify bottlenecks and lead mitigation strategies with stakeholders
• Align inventory planning and flag opportunities to reuse available stock

Resource planning & execution support

• Break down overall demand into team-level workload plans
• Monitor and balance workload vs. capacity — internal and external
• Lead planning meetings and ensure teams are aligned on scope, timing and resources
• Support seamless handovers between teams and avoid misalignments

Sales & Operations process & communication

• Serve as the primary interface between Sales, Engineering, Operations, Purchase and Installation & Commissioning
• Lead Sales & Operations review cycles and monthly planning syncs
• Provide visibility through structured planning tools, dashboards and reports

What you bring

• 3 years of experience in operations planning, production scheduling, or supply chain coordination
• Background in manufacturing, industrial automation, or a technical project environment
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn sales forecasts into actionable plans
• Familiar with ERP and planning tools (such as JD Edwards, MS Project, or similar)
• Excellent communication skills (in English) across all levels and teams
• Structured, proactive, and driven by results
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement is a plus
