About the role

We are currently seeking a Software Developer to join our team at iwell. This role offers an exciting opportunity to advance sustainable energy solutions and make a meaningful environmental impact. As a software engineer, you will be part of our siteEMS team. SiteEMS (Site Energy Management System) is our product that manages all the energy flows on our clients’ site, from their batteries to their solar panels and their electric trucks. Together, you will make sure our software runs smoothly and develop new features to make sure our clients use their energy optimally.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrating new hardware and software into our existing code base.
• Developing software that protects the grid at customer sites.
• Work on smart solutions to solve the complex energy needs of our customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Debugging hardware and software issues in our lab or at customer sites.

Requirements

A hands-on and enthusiastic software engineering mindset, thriving in an agile team environment. You're comfortable with developing logic for controlling hardware and know best practices for keeping your code clean and maintainable.

• Minimum HBO level education in computer science or several years of experience as a software developer.
• Experience with modern C# or other modern programming languages.
• Knowledge of Linux and Docker.
