Job Summary

Our mission is to optimize local energy usage by delivering smart and flexible battery storage. You’ll ensure seamless operation of the battery system, smooth maintenance experience for our service engineers and contribute to our user experience. Your work is crucial in enhancing our system’s flexibility and reliability, directly contributing to our mission of advancing sustainable energy.

As a software developer, you will be part of the CubeEms team. The team consists of software developers, a product owner and you! Together, you are responsible for the code that runs on the battery systems. From the interface connecting to the outside world, to low level battery control.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrating new hardware into our existing code base, using different kinds of communication protocols such as Modbus and CANbus.
• Working together with the Battery Systems team to improve the battery steering logic to increase battery longevity and performance.
• Continuously improving the existing codebase to ensure the battery systems are highly reliable.

Requirements

A hands-on and enthusiastic software engineering mindset, thriving in an agile team environment. You're comfortable with developing logic for controlling hardware and know best practices for keeping your code clean and maintainable.

Some additional key points:

• Minimum HBO level education in computer science or several years of experience as a software developer.
• Experience with modern C# or other modern programming languages.
• Knowledge of Linux and Docker.
