About the role

Industry: Public sector tendering / B2B SaaS

Product: Tender management software and enriched public procurement database

Team structure:

  • 2 Account Executives (new business)
  • 1 Customer Success Manager
  • 1 Onboarding Specialist
  • 1 Support Specialist

You’ll be focused on new business sales targeting bid managers, executives, and new business developers in Dutch companies. This is a full-cycle sales position covering everything from lead generation and qualification to demo and closing. It involves strategic consultative selling, tailored value messaging, and deal cycles typical of public procurement timelines. The client focus is Enterprise/MM depending on size.

  • Sales mix: 60–70% inbound, 30–35% outbound
  • Inbound sources: SEO, Google Ads, content, demo/trial requests
  • Outbound approach: low-hanging fruit + ICP campaigns
  • Sales tools used: LinkedIn Sales Nav, Lucia, Heyreach (LinkedIn), Instantly (email), Aircall, Claap, Play (to be optimised)
  • Focus industries: ICT, construction (S&B and small MM)
  • Average deal size: €6K ERA
  • Average cycle: <45 days

Requirements

Must haves:

  • 2+ years of B2B closing experience
  • Affinity with software
  • Strong communication skills (from bid manager to C-level)
  • Target-driven and self-starting

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in the tendering/public procurement space
  • Experience selling into IT / Construction
  • SaaS sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Start-up experience
