About the role

Role: Enterprise Business Development Representative

Industry: SaaS / E-commerce Technology

Product: A B2B e-commerce platform that enables seamless integration between ERP systems and web stores, tailored for product-driven businesses operating across multiple regions.

Ideal Customer Profile (ICP): Mid-to-large enterprise organizations in manufacturing, distribution, and wholesale sectors, with complex back-office systems and international operations.

Size and Functions of Local Team: Approximately 11 commercial team members supporting the EMEA region, based in Rotterdam. Broader international team primarily located in the Middle East, with around 60–70 employees in the Rotterdam office overall.

Role Description:

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing, international SaaS company as part of their DACH outbound sales team. You will focus on generating qualified opportunities for a senior Account Executive.

  • 90% outbound prospecting, 10% inbound handling
  • Responsible for 60 outreach activities per day, targeting 40 new contacts
  • Your goal is to book discovery calls and generate qualified sales opportunities (SQOs)
  • Sales cycles are enterprise-level and typically last 6+ months
  • Structured onboarding program (45 days) with clear ramp-up:
    • SQO target from month 3
    • Full quota expected by month 6
  • You will be working closely with an experienced Account Executive and supported by a sales manager based in EMEA
  • Clear growth path: promotion to Account Executive targeted within 12–18 months

Must-Haves:

  • Native German speaker
  • Currently based in the Netherlands
  • Strong motivation to build a career in B2B sales
  • 0–1 year of commercial experience (SaaS or B2B tech industry preferred)
  • Eagerness to stay in the BDR role for 12–18 months with the ambition to grow internally
  • Coachable, resilient, and target-driven mindset

Compensation:

  • Base salary: €43,130 (including holiday allowance)
  • Bonus: €11,000 annually (paid monthly)
  • OTE: €54,130
  • No flexibility on salary band
