What we ask

  • You have a dynamic and enthusiastic personality, you enjoy working in a diverse team, you are a self-starter and you organize and prioritize your own and your team’s workload.
  • You take responsibility for your work and are continuously looking for new opportunities to make a difference, and with your strong communication and interpersonal skills, you are able to build and maintain effective relationships with the team, suppliers and relevant (senior level) internal and external stakeholders.
  • You have a well developed set of analytical skills enabling you to work on complex and data heavy projects, both as project member as well as lead.
  • You have a bachelor or master degree in a relevant subject.
  • You have minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Commercial functions in a complex international company, preferably in the FMCG or food industry, and are seeking to bring your commercial drive, industry learnings and supplier capabilities into FrieslandCampina.

Vacancy description

In this role you will manage and maintain a complex warehousing & distribution procurement portfolio for most of our Operating Companies in Europe. You will drive various strategic projects, as part of the wider Performance+ program, to deliver BEST SERVICE and BEST COST. To be successful in this role you will:

  1. Co-lead the development and execution of the Integrated Warehousing & Distribution sourcing strategy, deliver and sustain a competitive advantage for FrieslandCampina
  2. Further develop and elevate the existing Supplier Relationship Management strategies for selected suppliers, deliver robust value pipeline
  3. Become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and leaders in the organization, bring the outside-in
