About the Role

As a Procurement Capabilities Intern at Kraft Heinz, you will play a vital role in transforming and developing procurement processes and strategies on a global scale. This internship offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will actively contribute to impactful initiatives that enhance procurement capabilities and drive organizational success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize procurement tools and strategies that align with company goals and support the professional growth of the procurement function.

The Position

  • Analyze internal and external data to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in planning and executing global capability-building programs and process improvement projects.
  • Support the enhancement of procurement tools, platforms, and training materials, ensuring usability, clarity, and strategic alignment.
  • Engage with stakeholders across departments to drive collaboration and alignment on key procurement initiatives.
  • Optimize internal processes such as participant management, data tracking, and resource allocation to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Contribute to the automation of procurement workflows and vendor management processes.
  • Develop strong communication and analytical skills while navigating a fast-evolving, high-performance environment.

Tasks throughout the various roles can include:

  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to support procurement decision-making.
  • Assist in the creation and improvement of procurement training materials.
  • Support supplier negotiations and contract management efforts.
  • Help streamline procurement reporting and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance procurement capability initiatives.
  • Automate and optimize procurement processes using data-driven insights.
  • Provide support in analyzing procurement tools and recommending improvements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement initiatives with business objectives.

Job requirements:

  • You are enrolled at a European university during at least 50% of the duration of the internship.
  • You are at the end of your Bachelor’s degree, or in your Master’s degree: Preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, Economics, Business Administration or Engineering.
  • You have good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have an EU Citizenship, or you are studying in the Netherlands).

  • Ownership: You’re always seeking for opportunities to expand your business and build more savings, while over delivering your targets.

What we offer you:

  • Program start date: June 2025
  • Duration: 6 – 6.5 months (for 40 hrs a week)
  • Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs, 5 days), a company provided laptop, full reimbursement of travel expenses to the office, as well as reimbursement to improve your work from home environment.

  • Hybrid Policy: Kraft Heinz has recently transitioned to a hybrid way of working, which means that we work 60% of the week in the office and have the right to work 40% from home.
