About the role

The Flight Operations Team prepares and operates all kinds of drone flights: from demos for potential customers to technical tests, from multiple week overseas operations to marketing flights. While doing so, they are always on the lookout for ways to improve these operations: how can they be done safer/faster/cheaper/better?

As an intern in the Flight Operations Team you will assist in daily drone operations as part of the flight crew, while also having at least one side project that is completely yours. The possibilities for these are endless, and depend on the time and duration of the internship, as well as your profile. Possible assignments could be:

• Reviewing (pre)flight procedures and defining new processes and structures to maximize our flight time.
• Working on flight checklists and operational manuals to streamline our operations and ensure safe handling of our drones and flight approvals.
• Designing route profiles and flight templates to support rapid response use cases and further development of our mission planning.

The internship starts in July, August or September 2025 and lasts at least 4 months.

About you

You’ll fit right in if you're flexible, creative, and resourceful, and if you enjoy a bit of office banter in between focused work sessions. We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who can work independently and confidently find their way in a fast-paced environment.

Our ideal intern is currently enrolled in a college or university program and has a strong command of English—bonus points if you also speak Dutch or other languages. You should have an affinity with the aviation sector and a genuine passion for the drone industry.

You enjoy working in a team, being outdoors (a little rain doesn’t scare you!), and you're motivated by planning and hands-on learning. Flexibility and adaptability are key here too.
