What you will be doing:

You will be working as part of the Global Statutory Oversight & Command Center, composed of an international team of qualified accountants, focusing on regional & global statutory matters and compliance oversight across FedEx Express entities internationally. You will provide support to local teams with specific complex accounting, central or local audit matters, IFRS assessments of complex accounting transactions, and preparation of technical accounting position papers. You will support conclusions for Local GAAP aspects, lead global statutory accounting & reporting process enhancement projects for further professionalization and streamlining of processes and procedures, provide trainings to international teams, manage stakeholders, support cross-functional projects, and engage in other initiatives across the organization.

What do you bring with you:

  • Qualified CA (Chartered / Qualified accountant e.g. CPA, RA)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of post qualification experience in a Big 4 audit environment, with an international client base
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP, capable of writing accounting memos / presenting and concluding with auditors
  • Fluent in English; second foreign language is a plus
  • Energetic and enthusiastic, eager to learn
  • Confident, able to run projects in an international work environment
  • FCF/Oracle/SAP knowledge is a plus
