Ga jij altijd voor winst?
Wij bieden "traineeships" aan pas afgestudeerden HBO/MBA bij Catz International B.V. wie zich willen ontwikkelen naar Junior Trader.
Als (jr) Trader ben je verantwoordelijk voor de inkoop en verkoop van onze producten en onderhoud je nauwe contacten met onze leveranciers en klanten. Na een intensieve interne opleiding ga je aan de slag om onze succesvolle zaken voort te zetten en uit te breiden.
De baan?

Collega Trader
Doordat de productenspan behoorlijk divers is, zijn de contacten ook divers. Het ene moment bel je met een leverancier in Manila, het volgende moment heb je contact met een klant in Rotterdam. Je moet goed weten wanneer je een partij moet kopen of verkopen. De weersomstandigheden en de politiek in de wereld hebben er zelfs mee te maken. Als het hurricane-season begint, gaan de prijzen dan omhoog? Wat heeft een nieuwe president van een land voor gevolgen m.b.t. de internationale handelsbetrekkingen? Veel om aan te denken en in de gaten te houden. Kortom een heel diverse baan.
Als junior trader start je met een intensief inwerktraject waarbij je met alle afdelingen meewerkt alvorens je aan je trading-werkzaamheden begint. Een senior trader zal je helpen de fijne kneepjes van het vak te leren. Mettertijd zal jij de expert worden waarbij je wereldwijd de producten van jouw specialisme in- en verkoopt, dan reis je 4 à 5 weken per jaar naar de gebieden waar de producten worden verbouwd.
Vereisten
Wie zoeken wij?
- HBO-ers met handelsgeest. Je barst van de energie, je hebt kennis van zaken en volgt het wereldnieuws op de voet.
- Je hebt pas je HBO of Master diploma behaald, bij voorkeur richting Commerciële Economie of vergelijkbaar.
- Je kan rekenen als de beste en stopt niet voor je de beste deal hebt kunnen sluiten, dus een 9-5 mentaliteit is jou onbekend.
- Schakelen tussen talen, culturen en omgevingen vind je leuk.
- Je bent een fijne professionele collega, teamworker en ook zelfstandig in staat te werken.

Because of our presence in the port of Rotterdam we are able to provide strategic storage and transport to our partners within as well outside of the European Union. As we maintain buffer stocks in our warehouses we can supply your demand at all times by securing external risks.

We are a member of the European Spices Association (ESA), therefore our dedicated quality team has full knowledge about the latest food safety regulations of, among others, the European Commission. In order to monitor the market and secure traceable quality supply, that meets all customer specifications, Catz International is full-time present in the important spices markets around the globe. Our local and Dutch representatives are located on-site and have daily contact with both our traders as well quality managers in The Netherlands to guarantee compliance with the needs of our customers.

As a result of this unique position we are able to eliminate financial as well currency risks for our partners depending on their needs.
