About the role:

Work as Finance Business Partner in Versuni, with responsibility for financial oversight, optimization, and budget control for the functions globally. Your counterparts are the senior leaders of the functions (like IT, Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal, and others), their direct reports, as well as stakeholders in the Business and Markets. You will do this together with support from the (outsourced) FP&A team and the local Controllers.

Besides planning and controlling costs, you will also be responsible for transformational programs to drive value creation like Marketing spend effectiveness and cost optimization initiatives. You will also continuously develop and maintain the global cost management and reporting framework of Versuni (which defines cost categories and budget ownership).

This position is key to delivering on our ambitious Value Creation Plan (VCP).

The impact you’ll make:

• Contributes to strategy development and implementation with financial analysis & forward-looking modelling
• Owns budgeting, forecasting of financial statements (or subset of this), month-end close including variance analysis
• Drives and leads the standard reporting setup together with the Performance Management center of expertise
• Monitors financial positions, identifies risks and opportunities, and ensures correct action is taken when necessary (e.g., cost of organization improvement)
• Performs forward-looking ad-hoc analysis (project & strategy evaluation, benchmarking, scenario analysis, etc.)
• Manages relationships with other finance pillars, gathering inputs and jointly ensuring financial control
• Coaches business on how to build solid business cases; then challenges key assumptions
• Owns business case development & decision support of e.g., productivity, IT, etc.
• Enables day-to-day business decision-making with accurate fact base, viable solutions to ensure profitable growth
• Drives and executes organizational and performance improvements

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

The Group Finance leadership team and will report into the Head of Group Controlling

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• Relevant work experience in Finance domain
• Financial education (Finance bachelor, CMA, CFA or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of finance tools (Excel, ERP, business intelligence tools) and LEAN
• Good senior stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
• Natural interest to create a deep understanding of the product portfolio, processes in own domain
• Strong analytical skills
• Fluent in English
