The RDQ team plays a key role in ensuring that all our products meet the highest standards in quality and food safety. With a dynamic European scope, the team supports both internal manufacturing and external partners like co-packers and 3PLs. As part of our mission to maintain excellence, we are looking for a dedicated Senior Quality Officer to join our team in Andelst.

This what your fresh start looks like

As Senior Quality Officer, you are responsible for executing and monitoring the Quality Plan, guiding cross-functional teams and external partners in compliance, and continuously improving our food safety systems.

You will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering and Group RDQ teams, and be a key point of contact for internal audits, non-conformance investigations, supplier assessments, and complaint handling.

You report directly to the GRDQ Q&FS Supplier Manager and become an integral part of both the local and European RDQ operations.

Your core tasks in a nutshell:

• Execute the Quality Plan including internal audits, hygiene inspections, and process reviews
• Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and develop corrective action plans
• Handle and assess non-conformities, customer complaints, and trend analyses
• Support and train co-packers and 3PLs on quality requirements
• Ensure compliance with ISO, FSSC 22000, and other international standards
• Keep the Supplier Quality system up to date and ensure proper documentation
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and support during audits
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across Europe

The ideal recipe for our Senior Quality Officer?

• 🎓 Education: Master’s degree (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Food Technology) OR 5+ years of experience with MBO/HBO
• ✅ Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, microbiology, and food quality standards
• ✅ Familiarity with FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, IFS, and food legislation
• 🔍 Analytical and detail-oriented, with experience in audit preparation and complaint handling
• 🤝 Strong communication skills and stakeholder management across functions
• 💻 Comfortable with QMS, SAP, and digital documentation systems
• 🌍 Willing to travel within the Netherlands and occasionally in the EU
