Position Overview

As a Key Account Manager, you will take full ownership of all activities related to our key account, as well as manage a selection of other customers within the Netherlands. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and expanding relationships with these clients, ensuring their needs are met with our Filoform solutions. You will also be responsible for promoting our duct sealing solutions and identifying opportunities for new business. This includes actively hunting for new customers and positioning our products to meet evolving market demands. Your client base will primarily consist of major contractors in the Benelux region. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead contract, renewal management and tender processes across Filoform
  • Initiate the sales process through appointments and diary management
  • Maintaining and developing contact with Filoform’s main low voltage customers
  • Delivering presentation and product demonstrations, developing customer requirements and maintaining commercial value
  • Develop existing key energy accounts, identifying opportunities within the market and commercial products and projects
  • Account planning and sales strategy delivery
  • Monitoring account performance and drive increased results
  • Resolving issues and providing customer support across a range of customers
  • All other duties as required by the Sales Manager and Commercial Director

Associated Responsibilities:

  • Support intercompany sales process
  • Upselling and cross-selling IPE customer brands
  • Activity and Pipeline Management
  • Client onboarding and training

Experience and Training:

  • Experience with managing key accounts
  • Experience in energy and infrastructure products sectors
  • Extensive business to business (B2B) experience
  • Experience within a technical sales sector

Essential Criteria:

  • HBO Level Education
  • Must have experience in contract, renewal management and tender processes within the Netherlands, European experience in this area would be advantageous
  • Must have minimum 5 years’ experience within a Key Account Management position
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and verbal
  • Drivers licence B
