We represent the Global IT Engineering and Operations tribe, an integral part of the Infrastructure and Engineering department.

The team

We are the heart of our monitoring platform MDPL, we are also responsible for the ServiceNow platform, Azure DevOps and we are driving the Engineering Journey across ING. Our workplace is dynamic, diverse, and filled with exceptional colleagues.

Roles and responsibilities

Excited? If so, here's the opportunity – we're on the lookout for a highly enthusiastic and results-oriented Feature Engineer. We're seeking someone who deep dives into technical details, collaborates with engineers, engages architects to grasp strategy and landscape, and transforms insights into actionable features (roadmap) that resonate with engineers for subsequent story creation.

This means:

• A very proactive colleague who can lead by nature, navigate through the ambiguity to define the journey of the initiatives you are working on.
• Gather the requirements and able to document and structure.
• In collaboration with other stakeholders refine the features and document them.
• Good understanding of the ING Risk Framework.
• Basic programming skills, preferably Java or Golang.
• Infra as code, Terraform, CD/CI Pipeline, Azure Pipelines.

• Transformational Change Management: Spearhead the detailed design and delivery of transformative change programs, ensuring seamless integration with other disciplines/functions. Cultivate management commitment and utilize structured change management methodologies to foster acceptance and embed the desired culture and behaviors.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and manage stakeholders up to the C-suite level. Understand their needs, issues, and concerns, leading the development of stakeholder engagement plans to facilitate communication and decision-making.
• Program Management: Take charge of approving and executing projects, integrating activities across the portfolio and the wider organization. Ensure alignment with the organization's project and program management framework, complying with the broader governance structure and processes.
• Process & Governance: Optimize collaboration within and across tribes. Work closely with teams to enhance workflow and optimize output.
