Managing Editor (m/f/d)

The Managing Editor will be responsible for both defining a strategy for and implementing customer-facing content and tone of voice that is delighting and engaging – striving to put a smile on our customers' face, every day in the modern, non-corny way.

This position requires high creativity, good communication skills, and the ability to reach across teams to develop fruitful working relationships with other teams of the Amazon organization. It offers you the environment to leave your mark, implement your own ideas, and define key strategic pillars of the customer experience. On the job, you’ll use customer obsession as the north star - staying focused and results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

• Define the local content strategy, manage internal and external content generation processes, and execute creation and/or content editing.
• Innovate by creating new, customer-obsessed content experiences to continue to surprise and delight customers.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative insights on how your initiatives and programs are operating and how to improve experiences based on those insights.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in program or project management
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
• Experience leading process improvements
