We work with state-of-the-art technologies such as Azure DevOps, Openshift, and Java Springboot microservices.

As an IT DevOps Lead Engineer Java, you will have the opportunity to create exceptional applications that provide the best experience for our customers. You will take the technical lead role, ensuring the delivery of the best solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass programming, testing strategy, monitoring, alerting, and implementation rollout. Working with an agile mindset, you will collaborate closely with your squad members and possess a deep understanding of the application's ecosystem.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the development of Java applications using Spring frameworks, including Spring reactive.
• Utilize your expertise in Java, Python, and other programming languages.
• Implement and maintain monitoring tools such as Kibana, Logstash, Prometheus, and Sonar.
• Containerize applications using Docker and Openshift.
• Work according to Agile/Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
• Utilize Continuous Delivery tooling, including Azure DevOps, Ansible, and GIT.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical IT field.
• Expertise in Java and Spring frameworks.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools like Kibana, Logstash, Prometheus, and Sonar.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Openshift.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with Continuous Delivery tooling, including Azure DevOps, Ansible, and GIT.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
• Residing within a reasonable travel distance from Leeuwarden.
