This is what you will do

Main activities
The following are examples of day-to-day tasks of the Director Business Control and its team:

• Day to day leadership of management team (coach, provide guidance, develop, inspire, etc.).
• Translate strategic goals into measurable key performance indicators. These goals have to be reflected in the long term financial analysis and yearly budget process. Scenario analysis is also part of these analyses.
• Understand what is happening in the market as well as the company, and thus proactively act by contributing to discussions and decision making, being reflected in updated forecasts where appropriate.
• Analyse (financial) data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and risks. Initiate and implement improvements in cooperation with internal stakeholders.
• Forecast future investment and resource needs.
• Support operational strategy / decisions with solid business cases.

As our new Director Business Control in Sittard, what do you bring?

• Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a Finance focused education.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in Finance, Business Control, and Management.
• Strong leadership, change management, visionary.
• Decisive, proactive, analytical, and excellent in communication.
