CS&P combines strategic planning alongside operational excellence between the Customer Business Development teams and the Business Group/Business Unit, ensuring delivery of the Business Group and Unit’s critical KPIs. Ultimately the CSP team is responsible for creating the Customer Category Growth Strategy which informs brand and CD teams, drives the commercial strategy of the business unit, supports customers through objective insights and drives category growth.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

  • You will report to the Customer Strategy & Planning Manager Lipton Ice Tea The Netherlands
  • You will be working exclusively on the Lipton Ice Tea business within the greater Foods business.
  • Delivering business targets by ensuring trade plans are developed and delivered per key customer.
  • Be the category expert and together with your team provide key customers with objective advice, deep dives and quarterly reviews (category, promo and shelving plans).
  • Creating great relationships with buyers & customer strategy managers in order to drive profitable value growth of the category and Lipton Ice Tea, measured by favorable annual scores of retail partners (AGS).
  • Representing customer needs & category value drivers, ensuring alignment of customer & category strategy and brand plans together with the CSP manager & CSP country lead.
  • Responsibility for creation & optimalisation of internal and external business updates, providing CD and marketing teams with valuable insights and actionable next steps.
  • Responsibility for reviewing promotional strategies that deliver insights for IBP.
  • Supporting broader Lipton NL team with rankings and business cases assumptions.
  • Supporting broader Lipton NL team with ad-hoc analyses using external data like Nielsen or customer databases.
  • Supporting, or driving, NRM deep dives within the broader Lipton NL team through executing data analyses.
  • Keeping a close eye on our competitors and track them on key KPI’s.
  • Supporting operational processes to ensure perfect execution of innovations.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Master’s degree in economics, Business Studies or Science, and a high level of numeracy and analytical skills / working with large datasets.
  • The ideal candidate has experience in CD or CSP/category management.
  • Excellent engagement, presentation, and communication skills, and an ability to manage a large and complex set of stakeholders.
  • Managing large datasets and transforming data into compelling insights that communicate a strong story will be essential for this role.
  • Moreover, our ideal candidate thrives in an agile environment with many stakeholders and loves to work together with different functions.
  • Proactivity, flexibility and eagerness to learn & improve is crucial to continuously evolve our CSP team to a higher level.
  • The perfect candidate is highly service oriented to both our external customers and internal teams.
  • Fluent in Dutch (native speaking) & English.
