As the Global Buyer - Flavors, Colors & Botanicals, you will have a challenging, dynamic, and prominently visible role in implementing top-tier category sourcing strategies. Your responsibilities will include leading and executing pivotal strategic projects focused on innovation, value creation, operational excellence, and sustainability, in alignment with the Renew Danone objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing the Global Flavors, Colors, and Botanicals Ingredients sourcing strategy in a fast-paced consumer goods environment, addressing business disruptions and high inflation.
• Leading the categories in Europe and serving as the primary point of contact.
• Coordinating strategy execution across all regions with local stakeholders.
• Enhancing supply chain resilience through measures like duplications and reformulations (BCP).
• Driving the sustainability agenda for the flavor and color strategy, in alignment with the Danone Impact Journey.
• Identifying opportunities for simplification to improve savings and process efficiency.

About you

To be successful in this role, you need strong analytical and negotiation skills. You need to be a strong communicator, with the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders. You also need strong organization & planning abilities, and a strategic vision & ability to operate in complex organization with many internal and external stakeholders.

On top of this, you have:

• Master’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement, preferably in Direct Categories within an FMCG context.
• Capability to control a large number of concurrent variables and activities accurately and consistently.
• Comfortable with both strategy building and delving into details.
• Understanding of sustainability and driving impact through sourcing.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Interpersonal skills, conflict management, influencing skills, and cross functional collaboration.
