As bunq's Internal Auditor - Finance Specialist, you'll play a vital role in fortifying our foundation as we scale. You'll focus on the critical risk areas of Finance and IT risk, directly contributing to bunq’s vision. Here's how you'll make a difference:

• Develop comprehensive audit plans, perform audits, and prepare clear audit reports.
• Clearly communicate audit findings and recommendations to management to ensure understanding and actionable outcomes.
• The audits will cover but are not limited to areas such as credit and liquidity risk, ILAAP, ICAAP, FINREP, and COREP and compliance with regulatory requirements (like CSRD).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for accurate and effective audits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of more robust financial controls.

This challenge is perfect for you if

• You deeply understand EU and Dutch financial regulations like CRD IV, CRR, Basel III/IV, MiFID II, and IFRS 9.
• You've been auditing before within a regulated industry (fintech is a plus) and transform regulatory requirements into actionable audit strategies with ease.
• You are skilled in using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, SAS, and Python, with a solid grasp of financial systems and risk management frameworks.
• You have excellent written and verbal English skills for clear reporting and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• You can articulate audit outcomes to stakeholders at all levels, explaining why and how they can be corrected.
• You are adept at managing your schedule, working independently, and handling multiple tasks efficiently.
• You are open to traveling up to 20% of the time to fulfill audit responsibilities across different locations.
