We are looking for a new team lead! Our ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and enjoys working with data. Your job

You will be part of the BEAM team (30+ members) that consists of IT engineers and business developers/analysts, which is divided into 4 sub-teams. The team works on building and maintaining the Accounting Mainbank NL data domain store, BEAM. The team is responsible for preparing datasets based on Mainbank NL financial and risk data for various stakeholders within the Finance and Risk domain. This can be both for mandatory regulatory reporting as for analytical purposes. The domain data store is part of the reporting new chain. We are working on migrating the current chain into the new chain.

As a lead business developer you facilitate the process of translating requirements together with the stakeholders and engineers. Translation of requirements consists not just of analysing data, but also of defining logic and rules and documentation. You will help testing and implementing. As a lead you will guide the sub-team that focuses on the migration of FBS to BEAM.

Stakeholder management is important. Your role will require you to have an interest in data and finance and have excellent communication skills. Analytical skills are key.

Working environment

The Finance Grid is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all Finance departments. We work according to the scrum framework. The BEAM team is a DevOps team. Various team tasks such as hosting the daily are rotating.

Your profile

You have experience (or at least ambition) in leading others and are ambitious to (further) develop your managerial and leadership skills. You are able to switch context, since alignment with a diverse range of stakeholders and topics requires you to focus on multiple topics at any given time. You feel at ease supporting the business and facilitating discussions with the stakeholders in order to support them setting requirements.

  • Successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.);
  • 6+ years of experience as a business developer/analyst;
  • Good knowledge of SQL;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
  • Experience with Accounting and Financial reporting is a plus;
  • Communication in English and Dutch is necessary
  • Autonomous and self-starting.
  • Team player with focus on results;
  • Solution minded.
